PLC: Yes, it is confirmed and I will head there again with my wife Rute. I am very excited to compete at Pipeline again. The APB Tour calendar looks really similar to last year, but it’s a very complete tour. We are very fortunate to have Chopes [Teahupoo] and Frontón back on tour.
In 2017 Portugal will have, again, three stops on the World Tour. Do you think is safe to say Portugal’s the biggest Bodyboarding country on the face of the Earth?
By running three events of the World Tour, Portugal is establishing himself as the country who invest the most into the sport of Bodyboarding. The community here is so strong and the Portugueses riders did great results last year, their motivation and determination is remarkable.

Born in Vichy in 1990, a city in the center of France, Pierre -Louis wasn t destined to be a pro bodyboarder, his parents and him then moved to Antibes on the mediterranean side of France for 7 years.
When Pierre s grand father died in 1998 in Morocco, his family and him moved there to take his business back.
In Christmas 1999, Pierre received a present that will change his life forever, a bodyboard , a Mike Stewart s pro model. Since this day, every time he had the chance to be on the beach, he would spend hours in the water starting to show early a real talent for the sport.His parents support Pierre s bodyboarding ability and took him to the beach as often as possible.
At 10, Pierre entered his first amateur bodyboarding contest and won.
In 2001, Pierre moved back to France with his sister and Mum and in 2002,Pierre won his first national title in the under 14 category. Big surfing brand Rip Curl start to be interested in the kid s potential and offer him his first sponsorship contract.
After Winning 3 national titles and the european title, Pierre went for the second time in Australia in 2005 to enter the australian national tour.
