Anandakuttan
Anandakuttan, is basically from Kochi, Kerala who stepped into the tremendous field of cinema in Malayalam as a cinematographer. Unfortunately, he is no more but still lives in the hearts of many souls. He died in February 2016. His wife was Geethamani and he also had a son, Sreekumar and two daughters named Neelima and Karthika. It is said that he had a cardiac arrest on a peaceful Sunday morning at a private hospital. His body was cremated at Ravipuram the next day. He showcased his photographic skills when he was in his eighth grade. His skills were identified when he clicked pictures at the funeral procession of Manathu Padmanaban with a Click III camera.
The pictures were so good that a local studio displayed it on their display screen in their lobby for a couple of weeks. After his schooling and higher secondary education, he was trained formally in photography to enhance his skills. Later he chose his career to be his passion and worked hard enough to make a mark.. Before his death, he resided at Ambelipapadam, near Vyttila. Born at Vazhappilli, adjacent to Chagganassery in 1954, he stepped into cinema industry and applied for the post of assistant camera man in Chennai and thereby, worked for the famous cameraman, K.
